# Position Information

Job Description
This position performs professional level duties to assist the Community Policy Management Team (CPMT) and the Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) with the implementation of the Children's Services Act (CSA) for At-Risk Youth and Families; responsible for monitoring changes in Children's Services policy and state law and assisting in implementing changes within the agency and localities; monitoring the CSA program budget to include encumbrances, expenditures, un-encumbrances, and reimbursement for CSA; manage multi-agency assessments and present FAPT reports and recommendations to the CPMT; act as a secondary case manager for all cases coming before FAPT; attends treatment meetings and case staffing's; conducts utilization reviews on cases; monitor vendors to ensure that families and children are receiving the services and benefiting from services provided; ensure that FAPT plans include least restrictive placements; assist in long range community planning to develop services for children and families; may assist in developing RFP's; responsible for negotiating vendor contracts and ensuring they meet all requirements. The position performs professional level duties to ensure that the agency meets compliance requirements for all services programs; reviews and analyzes data information; coordinates audits and quality assurance reviews by state and other entities; completes corrective action plans as required. Analyzes processes, identifies problems, and makes recommendations for improvements. Manages, organizes, and directs special projects approved by the Director and/or Assistant Director. May conduct needs assessments; advise and assists the agency in developing resources; responsible for training fiscal and services staff as well as CPMT and FAPT members.
## Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of two years of appropriate and related experience in a Human Services area (Section 22VAC40-670-20 of the Administrative Code of Virginia). Considerable experience in assigned program area/human services programs and completion of required training programs. Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
## Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience as a CSA Coordinator/Administrator. Prior case management experience.
## Special Requirements
Applicant must have a valid Virginia Driver's license without restrictions and the driving record must meet agency standards; applicant must also meet a level of insurability set by the agency. Responsible for shelter duty and other responsibilities under the emergency operations plan during times of disaster.
