**Features, Verification & Validation** is a global organization using deep customer knowledge to break down customer features into technical requirements. We drive validation plans to reach the requested feature level and secure end customer satisfaction. We also manage the verification plans thanks to world class physical and virtual tests on the complete vehicle such as durability testing in rigs, fuel economy testing, reliability testing with customers and a variety of simulations and tests with trucks on proving grounds and open roads. **Job Summary**

We are seeking a motivated and qualified Senior Engineer with expertise in Regulatory Compliance who wants a challenging, but rewarding, career opportunity to join a dynamic team working with and exposed to the latest technology in automotive testing.

As a Senior Engineer - Regulatory Certification, you will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of vehicle regulatory compliance for domestic and international markets. This includes developing and maintaining accurate compliance reports for all the product range. In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting development projects and to provide accurate interpretation of regulations.

+ Translate project pre-requisites into requirements to meet regulations

+ Collaborate with design engineers in the early stages of product development to ensure compliance ready designs

+ Develop and maintain accurate compliance reports

+ Support regulatory investigations and respective corrective/preventative actions

+ Support engineering on design changes needed to meet and maintain compliance

+ Provide accurate interpretation of regulations

+ Represent FVV (Features, Verification & Validation) in project management teams, design reviews, clinics, etc.

+ Lead vehicle regulatory compliance reviews and report fulfillment

+ Deliver input to project documentation (e.g. requirement specification, project description, PAP/PDP, risk register, lessons learned)

+ Interact with regulatory offices inside Volvo Trucks to homologate North American products in export markets

+ Participate in Global and North American regulatory network

**Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering minimum; Master's degree preferred

+ 8 years of engineering experience required

+ General truck and FMVSS knowledge required

+ Quality tool skills (Risk analysis, FMEA, Project Assurance quality) preferred

+ Good analytic skill and logical way of thinking required

+ Sound technical judgment and use of structured decision-making techniques required

+ Demonstrated ability to successfully work with technical resources on risk/contingency plans required

+ Strong technical writing abilities required
