Job Description

Summary: The Project Coordinator for Campus Wellbeing assists the Office of Wellbeing in a broad range of special projects and needs centered on university wellbeing. This position will work with contacts across campus on wellbeing related events, programs, and research.

Essential Functions:

+ Assists Director of Wellbeing and independently develops, implements, and evaluates prevention and health promotion programs for students, faculty, and staff.

+ Communicates and works effectively with wellbeing stakeholders to ensure a high degree of transparency and to further develop strong relationships to maximize input and opportunities for helpful insights.

+ Conducts research and in-depth analysis on various wellbeing topics related to higher education (i.e. wellness centers, benchmarks, metrics, and programs).

+ Creates reports/presentations summarizing research findings.

+ Engages in issues surrounding Wake Forest's eight dimensions of wellbeing including financial, occupational, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental and physical; as well as student resilience and employee engagement.

+ Identifies ways to seek input from students, faculty, and staff into the wellbeing initiative.

+ Assists with providing required reports to Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, including periodic, one-page summaries of wellbeing research from Wake Forest faculty members.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

+ Skill in prioritizing workflow and managing resources.

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.

+ Ability to multi-task and demonstrate sound judgment and discretion.

+ Excellent proficiency in the operation of standard office equipment. Proficiency in online environments.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to research, collect, and analyze data, compile information, and prepare reports.

+ Strong interpersonal skills: listening, diplomacy, networking, developing partnerships, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

+ Knowledge of University policies and procedures, or ability to acquire knowledge in a short period of time.

+ Ability to be a team player.

+ Excellent collaboration skills with specialist groups and colleagues at both departmental and campus wide levels.

+ Proven experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to interact effectively with diverse constituencies internally and externally.


+ Responsible for own work.
